Partners work to meet the unique needs of their communities. A backbone staff supports partners as they build a shared agenda, measure for impact, and learn from each other. A Steering Committee representing Central Oregon communities guides the work of the backbone staff. Each year, all partners are encouraged to gather together in person at least once to share progress and learn together.

Our first All Partner Learning Community gathering was held on March 30, 2018 with representatives from Crook, Jefferson, and Deschutes Counties and the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. The room was full of energy as partners learned about what each other was doing, discussed how we might work together for greater impact, and thought about who was not in the room and how we might be both more enticing and welcoming.
The TRACEs kick-off event was held May 23, 2017 where over 100 organizations were represented. Sarah Enos Watamura was the keynote speaker.
TRACES 101: Community Conversations. In response to requests, local communities and organizations are hosting conversations to spread the word about adversity and resilience, find out what’s already happening, think about how to work and learn together. If you are interested in hosting a conversation, let us know via the form at the bottom of this page!
